My Journey

Get to know me and what I’ve been up to

Hi, I’m Bruna Olmeda a 25 year-old Christian singer and songwriter based in Orlando, FL. For the past two years, I’ve had the joy and privilege of being in ministry full-time, using music and worship as a way to share the love and truth of Jesus.

Songwriting has always been a deeply personal space for me, a way to process what God is doing in my life and to put words to the things many of us walk through in faith. Every song I write comes from a place of devotion, honesty, and a desire to draw people closer to God. My prayer is that through each lyric and melody, hearts are softened by His presence and Jesus is made known.

I just finished recording a brand-new worship album with nine original songs, and I truly believe it’s something different than anything I’ve done before. It's made for the Church and for people who are hungry to sing, cry out, and go deeper in the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Every lyric was birthed in prayer and in my secret place with Jesus. My hope is that it becomes a soundtrack for moments of breakthrough, surrender, and intimacy with the Lord.

The album is coming soon, and I’d love for you to be part of the journey.

My Encounter with God

A life experience that completely shaped me and led me into ministry was my encounter with God when I was 18 years old. At that time, I was in a deep, dark place. I was struggling with depression, drug addiction, bulimia, anorexia, and suicidal thoughts. I ended up on a rooftop in New York City, ready to end my life.

As I stood at the edge, something completely supernatural happened. Three men appeared in the darkness out of nowhere, it was at night. Their clothes shined brighter than any light I had ever seen, and their faces radiated with a brilliance I can’t even describe. They walked toward me, held my hands, and pulled me back. In that moment, I heard the audible voice of God for the first and only time in my life. He said, “This is not the end. I have a purpose and calling for your life, and I’m going to use you.” I felt power coming from the touch of their hands as they pulled me back.

That moment changed everything. I realized that what I experienced wasn’t just a rescue, it was a divine encounter. I believe those three men represented the Trinity: God the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God revealed Himself to me in a way I could never deny. He saved my life physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and gave me a second chance.

From that moment on, I gave my life to Jesus, and that encounter is what led me into ministry. I knew my life didn’t belong to me anymore it belonged to Him.
